Images of a project we have been working on for a while are starting to ping into our mailbox, so we thought it was only fair to share them with you.
In October 2013 we sat around a meeting table and looked in awe at the floor plans of a chalet being constructed in St Martin, France. The chalet is sympathetic to its surroundings and fits seamlessly into the local architecture albeit on a grander scale to much of the town. The structure clad in stone and timber fuses effortlessly with the contemporary twists and modern accents that can be found throughout the new home. The interior, comprising briefly of an open plan living area leading onto a wrap around terrace, seven bedrooms, an office and a top floor lounge made the perfect blank canvas for Pr to get creative.
We worked closely with the clients to ensure we could make the interior as bespoke as the chalet itself. Sofas, bedroom furniture, occasional chairs, rugs, cushions, curtains, consoles and sideboards were all custom designed and manufactured for the project, all of which blended seamlessly with furniture from our current range including; Hoxton armchair, Long Island, Malibu, Chameleon, Savoy and Reclaim.
It’s still a work in progress over on site but here’s what we’ve seen so far. Keep an eye out for our in depth post when the project is complete.
