What is your policy on recycling, usage of natural resources etc?
As we are a SME, we have always had a focus on minimising waste and resources. Our products are made for the long term, so are not throw away products.
However we are also constantly looking at new methodology in our products to reduce the overall footprint.
We have recently introduced upholstery fabrics made from recycled plastics and redesigned several product lines to make them more freight efficient and longer lasting.
The vast majority of our wooden furniture is produced in Indonesia and is fully compliant with FLEGT and EUTR regulations.
Our waste is recycled and where we can we reuse packaging and wrapping materials.
How do you use my personal information?
Can I collect my order in person?
Yes, you can. Please contact us on 01623 847030 to discuss further.
When I go to complete my purchase I am greeted with a “Verified by Visa” or “Mastercard Secure Code Screen” – What is This?
“Verified by Visa” (VbV), or “MasterCard SecureCode” (MSC), are initiatives implemented by the card schemes to minimize online card fraud. The idea behind this scheme is that the first time you use your card online, either at our store or another store that uses this extra security, you will be asked to generate a password. This password then will be requested at any store that makes use of this security for any future purchases you make. This means that anyone who is trying to fraudulently use your card would not be able to provide the correct password. This password has nothing to do with your online banking or PIN. It is purely used for online purchases.
Do you store my credit/debit card details?
We do not store any card details. To take payment we securely pass them on to our bank for processing.
Which credit/debit cards do you accept?
We accept American Express, Visa, Visa Debit & Mastercard.
When is your showroom open?
Our showroom is open Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm.
A product I purchased has developed a fault – what do I do?
Our preferred method of contact is by email at email@example.com. You can also contact us by telephone (01623 847 030). Let us know what the problem is and if relevant send us a picture and we will do our best to resolve the problem or replace the item.
Where is your hardwood sourced from?
Our hardwood i.e. teak and meh wood are all sourced from sustainable forests in Indonesia. Teak from these forests often has white specks in the grain, this is due to the chalk in the soil in sustainable forests and should not be seen as a defect.
Are the products only available in the fabrics listed?
Due to the strict laws in the UK all fabric has to pass certain fire tests before it can be used on foam furniture. We offer a selection of fabrics on our site which are fully FR compliant. We do carry other fabrics in stock and can work with other suitable upholstery fabrics, to discuss this further, please contact the office on 01623 847030.
Do all of your products require assembly?
No, although some require simple assembly. Any products that require assembly state this under the description on the product page. Most of our hardwood tables and benches do need their legs attaching. Please be careful when tightening the legs as the brackets are made of brass and can bend if the bolts are over-tightened.
What are your delivery charges?
Our delivery charges vary on the size of the item and the location. Delivery charges for small items start at £4.95. Medium items start at £9.95. For orders over £100 delivery is free throughout mainland UK, except for Northern Ireland & Highlands and Islands.
For Northern Ireland and the Highlands and Islands there is a price structure built into the website. We will endeavour to fulfil every order however if it becomes financially unviable, we will contact you regarding the order.
Can I speak to someone on the telephone?
You can call us on 01623 847 030. We are open from 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday and 10:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday.
