Our Contemporary Home Furniture showcased at Yorkshire Artspace, Persistence Works, Sheffield

As mentioned in previous posts we are showing our furniture at Yorkshire Artspace, Persistence Works in Sheffield.

We are in the main atrium of the Persistence Works building on Brown St. A short walk along from Sheffield Train Station.

As part of the Autumn Almanac show, Our furniture has been used to flesh out the current contemporary artwork being produced by the resident artists of Yorkshire Artspace.

The show runs throughout most of November on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (from the 1st to the 23rd of November). Open from 11am – 5pm with free entry, it’s well worth a visit.

Open Studios

As well as the Autumn Almanac show, Yorkshire Artspace holds it’s Open Studios event on Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th of November.

For anyone with an interest in contemporary art and making; this is a must see event. Over 100 artists and makers open the doors of their studios to the public. This happens across two sites in Sheffield City Centre; Persistence Works & Exchange Place.

The event will run from 11am – 5pm on both days, entry will be free and there will be family friendly workshops, pop-up cafe’s and the opportunity to support local artists, by purchasing direct from the source.

Again we will be in the atrium of Persistence Works accompanied by some amazing contemporary pieces from over twenty artists and makers including; Anita Lloyd, Jennie Gill, Josephine Gomersall, Brett Payne, Holly Clifford, Janet Barnes, Richard Johnson, Claire Allam, Pottery West, Lilli Rose Wicks, Becca Brown and many more.
